Event Description

Situated off the beautiful Northumberland Coast, the Farne Islands are less than a 30-minute boat ride away. We have arranged a coach to take members and guests to Seahouses where we will board a boat for a two-and-a-half hour tour of the Farne Islands, including a one-hour landing on the largest island, Inner Farne. The Farne Islands is one of the premier bird sanctuaries in the UK and is home to many species of bird, including Puffins, Terns, Guillemots, and Shags (insert your own joke here). The tour will also take in the colony of Atlantic Grey Seals, which is the most important colony in Europe.
