Edinburgh Military Tattoo
6, 7 and 8 August 2010.
Day One
Head north stopping at Gretna Green for a 1 hour meal. This break allows plenty of time to purchase drinks and a bar meal. Then onwards to Edinburgh arriving at approx 3.30pm for check in. Again you will have plenty of time to purchase a meal from the restaurant before heading to the Castle Esplanade. Tickets are booked for the 9.00pm performance of the Tattoo.
Day Two
Today is free to be spent at leisure in the very heart of Edinburgh. Tonight (optional), you are invited to join us for a social evening to be held at a local social club. Here we have arranged a cabaret night along with bingo and other prizes plus coach travel to and from the club. Supper may be provided.
Day Three
After breakfast we rejoin the coach and head for Moffat. On arrival in Moffat the coach will park adjacent to the famous woollen Mills, you will then have 2 hours to explore this beautiful town, from Moffat we depart early afternoon for the return journey home.
Accommodation
The main accommodation for the 2 nights is in the Edinburgh Premiere Travel Inn – City Centre near to the Haymarket and Princes Street. The Travel Inn has its own bar & restaurant which opens for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Passengers booking for the Premiere Travel Inn will receive a full Scottish Breakfast in the self service restaurant which includes a fruit selection, tea and coffee and various cereals.
Important Notes
An early booking is advised as the tickets are at a premium and are expected to sell quite quickly. This will be on a first come first served basis.
There will be a subsidy of £30.00 for all M.C.S.S.C. members on the verification of their membership numbers.
The overall cost is £225.00 for non members and £195.00 for members.

The final balances must be paid in full by 1 June 2010.
All rooms are twin / double bedded and have en-suite facilities for two adults.
Family rooms are available on request.
Costs: Child under 15: £50.00 discount when sharing with 2 adults.
Child sharing with 1 adult: £20.00 discount.
