Event Description

A day trip to Blakemere and Tatton Park

Friday 16 April 2010

The coach will take us straight to Blakemere where we can enjoy a coffee, have a look at the unique crafts shops based around Edwardian stables and cobbled courtyard, visit the Aviaries (additional cost £2.50) or have a round of Supagolf (additional cost £8 which includes clubs and balls). Highlight of this visit will be a Falconry display.

We will leave Blakemere at 12.15pm – journey to Tatton Park should take around 40 minutes.

Tatton Park is an impressive award winning historical estate with 1000 acres of deer park, 50 acres of gardens, including Italian garden, Maze, Walled Kitchen garden and Pinery Vinery glasshouse. The neo-classical Mansion and large collection of paintings, furniture and ceramics will be open from 1pm.

Your ticket will include admission to the gardens, mansion and farm.

An optional group lunch has been arranged for £9.95. Please note that this must be pre- booked.

We will leave at 4.30pm for our journey home.
