Event Description

Darlington Operatic Society have impressively performed twice yearly since 1958 and their latest offering is based on Mel Brooks’ cult film The Producers, which chronicles the hilarious adventures of struggling theatrical impresario, Max Bialystock, and his mild-mannered accountant, Leo Bloom, as they scheme to get rich quick by producing the most notorious flop in the history of Broadway. Their guaranteed-to-fail fiasco? Springtime For Hitler: The Musical – but anything can happen when those lights go down on Broadway.

The production is showing at Darlington’s Civic Theatre from Wednesday 26 October to Saturday 5 November and features a couple of our own CSSC members. Ticket prices are £17 per person with an offer for 2 tickets for £25 on the opening night. CSSC members can also enjoy a subsidy on ticket of £5 off their own ticket and £2.50 off tickets for up to 3 guests.
