Sunday 18 July 2010A brand new event for CSSC swimmers in 2010 will be the Open Water Swimming Championships, to be held at Whitlingham Outdoor Education Centre, Whitlingham Lane, Trowse, Norwich, NR14 8TR.
Our championships will be held in conjunction with the East Region Open Water ASA & Age Group Championships and we greatly appreciate Eastern Region's offer to let us piggy back their event. We will be offering CSSC age group entrants medals in the 1,500 and 3,000 events which have in the past been run together from a staggered start so it's a choice - one or the other! Closing date for CSSC entrants is Wednesday 2 June. We do not propose to book accommodation as we are expecting that the events are scheduled for mid afternoon, therefore, we hope most of our interested competitors will be able to travel there and back on the day. If you would like accommodation, please make your own arrangements. You will need to hold a ASA category 2 membership to take part as well as being a current CSSC member.
