Event Description

The Abbey Centre, 34 Great Smith Street, Westminster SW1P 3BU is a vibrant welcoming place where you can join in educational, cultural and well being activities, as well as meeting new friends. It is also ideally located for those in, around or within reach of Whitehall.

Modern Ballroom and Latin American Dance classes take place on Wednesday evenings at the centre as follows:

6pm: Year 1 class (started dancing on 5 October 2011)
7pm: Year 2 plus class (started dancing on 7 October 2010 or before)
8pm: Social dancing

Tuition is given by top international competitor, Elena Plesceno.

The new term runs from 18 April to 27 June 2012. This excludes 30 May and 6 June when there will be a half-term break.

Cost for the term for either level is £75 per person, for members and non-members alike. The cost of a single (trial) class is £10.

New dancers are always welcome at either level. For those who are new to dancing there is an annual intake of complete beginners for which expressions of interest can be made at any time.

The classes are supported by Jura - the Justice Recreation Association.
