Event Description

The Abbey Centre, 34 Great Smith Street, Westminster SW1P 3BU is a vibrant welcoming place where you can join in educational, cultural and well being activities, as well as meeting new friends. It is also ideally located for those in, around or within reach of Whitehall.

Modern Ballroom and Latin American Dance classes take place on Wednesday evenings at the centre as follows;

6pm Year 1 class (started dancing on 5 October 2011)
7pm Year 2 plus class (dancing for more than a year)
8pm Social dancing

Tuition is given by top international competitor, Elena Plesceno.

The new term runs from 25 January to 28 March 2012 at a cost of £80 per person, for members and non-members alike. The cost of a single (trial) class is £10.

New dancers are always welcome at either level. For those who are new to dancing there is an annual intake of complete beginners for which expressions of interest can be made at any time.

The classes are supported by Jura - the Justice Recreation Association.
