Campus Challenge Results

Plenty of competitors sweated it out on the track, taking part in the Campus Challenge. Both the 10K and 3K Challenges went ahead at the superb Loughborough grounds and the results are as follows:

Cross Campus Challenge (10K)

1st: Gary Pennington with a time of 33 minutes and 43 seconds. Runners up were Terry Killilea (36.53) and Steve Robinson (37.05).

Congratulations must also go to Michaela Dempsey, the first woman to cross the line, with a time of 45 minutes and 32 seconds. Runners up were Beverley Barnes (47.26) and Lynne Abbot (48.14).

Cross Campus Challenge (3K)

1st: David Elderfield

2nd: Terry Hall (13.21)

3rd: Susan Thomson (16.16)
