Can I enter the CSSC Games?
Anyone who is a full CSSC member can enter the CSSC Games.
What Sports are on offer?
With this CSSC Games we are delivering the largest number of sport ever, 15 in total? Badminton, Netball, Table Tennis, Touch Rugby, Rounders, Hockey, Fencing, Squash, Athletics, Golf, Chess, Mens Football, Womens Football, Swimming and a Dry Triathlon.
How many sports can I enter?
Due to the number of sports available and the number of entries we receive it is only possible to enter one sport at the CSSC Games.
What is the cost?
The cost for the CSSC Games is an all inclusive price based on a cost per night basis. The price includes, all meais, entry into the competition, accommodation, entertainment and CSSC Games momento. However the cost will vary depending on what accommodation is opted for. There are 3 types of accommodation, single ensuite, twin ensuite, single standards and Premium ensuites.
It is important to remember that the dining facilities are arranged in accordance with the accommodation, if teams what to eat together they must all stay in the same type of accommodation.

How can I pay?
There are 3 methods of payment, credit or debit card payments can be made by call the Event Team on 01494 888438, 439, 417 and 434. Payments can also be made using BACs, please follow the instructions on the entry form, or a cheque made payable to CSSC Sport & Leisure.
What is this 'early bird' discount?
In order to encourage early entry we have introduced an 'early bird' discount for all members who submit a named entry prior to the 30th April. This discount is a full £10 off the prices quoted for the single ensuite, twin ensuite, standard singles and Premium ensuite rooms. If you want to come to the CSSC Games get yourself organised early, why pay more than you need to!
How do I get an entry form?
Getting an entry form for the sports could not be simpler. Please either email the Event Team using the following email addresses hilary.gray@cssc.co.uk or kate.newberry@cssc.co.uk. In addition, get on to the CSSC website and go to the CSSC Games page and download the entry forms and Sports Information Sheets. Or you could simply call the Event Team on 01494 888435, 438, 439, 417, 434.
What do I do with the entry form once complete?
Once complete either email the form to the Event Team or send by post. In order to accept the entry we must also receive the payment, we cannot confirm entry to the CSSC Games without it.
What is the standard of play, will I / we be good enough?
The CSSC Games is open to all members regardless of their standard. The sports organisers arrange their competitions with this in mind. We do get some members who enjoy their sport at a high level but the majority of those that take part are of a moderate standard or they are complete novices just wanting to be a part of the CSSC Games and enjoy themselves.
What happens if I want to play Netball but can only get half a team together?
This is a common occurrence, we often teams who are incomplete and will as a result make up composite teams. Get in touch with the Event Team and we will do all we can to match part entries, enabling you to take part.
Will I be able to get 'special leave' to attend the CSSC Games?
Presently within the civil service, time off is increasingly becoming an issue. Special leave is grant at the discretion of your line manager.
A part from the sport, what else does the CSSC Games have to offer?
The sport is a large part of the CSSC Games but having a good time is also just as big a part of what takes place. There is entertainment provided on the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights. Thursday night is the 'main event' and will have a Hollywood movie theme. For those members not wanting to party quite so hard there will be a quite bar available to enjoy an drink and a chat with your team.
