Event Start Date - 06/06/2009

Event Description

On 6 and 7 June 2009 members of the Civil Service Canoe Club intend to paddle in Canadian open canoes along a beautiful stretch of the river Severn in Shropshire. Owing to its history as the birthplace of the industrial revolution in the 18th century, Ironbridge Gorge is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Paddlers of all levels of ability, including complete beginners, are welcome. We will be camping overnight.
