National Darts Final Results 2011

The CSSC National Darts Final was held in Stoke on Trent on 18 - 19 November 2011.

The event started on Friday night with the Jack North Mixed Darts Pairs and MAC Crib Tournament.

The Jack North competition attracted a bumper entry this year (65 men and 44 ladies) with guests from the other Tri final disciplines - Tenpin and Snooker - taking part. The overall winners were Neil Vickery and Sandra Cox who beat Paul Saville and Bev Battle in the final.

The MAC crib tournament was a hotly contested knock out competition with 22 entries. Lindsey Richardson triumphed in the final to raise the trophy for the third time in its history.

The National Finals started on the Saturday morning and comprised of all the regional winners throughout who won local competitions during the year.

The overall winners were as follows:
Ladies Singles - Gillian Livett from Eastern region (beat Kim Nicholls from London).
Ladies Pairs - Jackie Lee and Sandie Thomas from South East (beat Lynn Smith and Bernadette Burrows from the North West)
Men's Singles - Damian Montgomery from Northern Ireland (beat Martin Tree from the South East - Martin was also the runner up in this event in 2010)
Men's Team - Glyn Wells, John Goves and Malcolm Johns from the South West (beat John McGrouther, Billy Velzian and Jimmy McDougal from Scotland) This was a nail biting final with Glyn Wells hitting 160 to win the match - final score 3-2.

Jamie Caven an ex-winner of the Men's singles competition and now ranked 18th in the world attended the tournament and presented the prizes to the darts players. Jamie also auctioned one of his professional shirts with the proceeds going to Children in Need.

The Children in Need collection raised over £500 over the course of the weekend.

The CSSC National Final will be held in Stoke on Trent again next year on 16-17 November.
