The SE Region finals were played at Mote Park, Maidstone, on Saturday 28 February.

Four teams entered the pairs competition, which was played on a round-robin basis, and the result was a resounding win to Ken Ticehurst and Kevin Bartlett.

The day was not without its moments, including one player being caught in traffic and delayed so long that the last game couldn't be played. As it happened, he was not in one of the two high-scoring teams and so had no influence on the outcome. The full scores were:
