Civil Service National Associations

Each Home country has its National Association. These are

English Civil Service Bowling Association ECSBA 

Scottish Civil Service Bowling Association SCSBA 

Civil Service Bowling Association (Wales) CSBA(W)

Civil Service Bowling Association (Northern Ireland)CSBA(NI)

Except for Northern Ireland, National Associations are organised in Area Associations many of which are not geographically identical to CSSC Area Associations. This misalignment is currently being looked at by CSSC and CSBA.

The main responsibility of a National Association is to organise competitions between the winners of its Area events to decide which players or teams will represent their country in the CSSC International Championships in the following year.

In July 2008 the CSSC International Championships are being held in the Newcastle  Area when the 2007 winners from each National Association will compete.

For members who did not qualify for the Championships, a Tournament is organised to run alongside the Championships.

In July 2009 the Perth Area is planning to host the CSSC International Championships and Tournament.
