| The CSBA and each National Association have match programmes and some of the matches are likely to be in easy travelling distance from you. If you are interested in playing in a particular match, all you need do is to contact the appropriate Match Secretary. The original intention back in 1922 (see The Association: what it does) was to play matches 'against kindred Associations and International Civil Service matches between England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland'. This aim is mostly achieved by playing County Associations or equivalent, as well as England having annual matches against Scotland and Wales. You will be made very welcome particularly on your first game for an Association. To gain a Blazer badge, you must play in three matches but only one match per year will count towards the award of a Blazer badge so it will take you a minimum of three years to gain a badge.
