A poor season for the CSSC side ended with the team losing all their three rep matches.
The last match started badly, with a 2-21 reverse game, but the team came back to win with 3 chalks difference, after good wins by Roger Stopford (Huddersfield) 21-10, & Paul Whiteley (Blackpool) 21-13, but despite some spirited bowling by the remainder of the team, the CSSC went down 205 -220, losing eventually by 15chalks to the Potters who retained the trophy for another year.
